Jobs and Skills Councils
BCRITAB works closely with its two relevant Jobs and Skills Councils to provide advice and feedback on training needs and relevant training packages. These are:
- Mining and Automotive Skills Alliance-AUSMASA, the JSC for Mining and Automotive covering industries involved in mineral exploration and extraction operations, and automotive
- BuildSkills Australia, the JSC for industries that provide property services, small or large scale construction services, traditional building as well as large scale civil infrastructure services and water infrastructure operations.
Microcredentials
The Institute of Applied Technology-Construction is a new way to upskill or reskill.A range of microskills and microcredentials are currently available in Project Management, CAD Drawing, Contract Administration, Building Information Modelling, to Cost Management.
